Santhanam The Comedian Turns Santhanam The Lover Boy

Apart from the fact that ‘Kandaen’ launches Santhanam as a romantic hero, the film also has other surprises in store for the viewers. In a statement released to the media, director Mugil says that his film will be the second in the history of Kollywood cinema to film scenes inside the Tanjore Brahadeeswarar temple. And expectedly, the cast and crew of ‘Kandaen’ is looking forward to begin work in this beautiful location.
Apart from Santhanam and Nimmi, the Tamil flick also stars actors like Shanthnoo and Rashmi Gautham. In fact, it is the first scene of lead actress Rashmi Gautham in ‘Kandaen’ which will be shot inside the Tanjore temple premises.
Santhanam is a very popular face in Kollywood cinema but has only appeared in comedy and drama flicks till date. After stepping on to the acting platform with a television series, it was in the year 2004 when the actor made his debut in Tamil cinema, immediately winning the hearts of the audience in his very first film ‘Manmadhan’
