Rahul takes on the role of a youth who tries for Government service. The film Madurai to Theni was based on the incidents that happen on a single day bus journey. In the similar way the film Sanikkilamai Saayangalam 5 Mani is based on the incidents that take place from one Saturday evening 5 pm to next Saturday 5 pm.
Sanikkilamai Saayangalam 5 Mani will be a suspense-thriller with a new-patterned screenplay that has fun, action and romance in this film. Ravi Bharathi has written the story and dialogues apart from directing this film. Director Rathi Bala who directed the film Madurai to Theni has structured the screenplay.
The shooting of the film is to take place in Kodaikanal and Madurai. S P L Gugan will be handling the camera while J V will compose the music. Karthik Subramaniam is in charge of editing. Era Tamizh Selvan has penned all the lyrics. Dheena and Sanjeev Kanna are handling the choreography while Rajashekar will design the stunts. S Janaki Sona Muthu is producing this film.
