Sangeeth Sivan clarifies- Click is not a rip-off

February 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): “Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ director Sangeeth Sivan is coming to scare you with his latest outing “Click’, which reportedly is a rip-off of Thai horror film “Shutter’. When we got in touch with the director par excellence to clarify the same, he said, “I saw a lot of horror films before I shot “Click’ and “Shutter’ was also one of them, but that doesn’t implies that it is a rip-off of the Thai horror film.”
He continues glibly, “You could say I have drawn some references from those movies, but that doesn’t mean I have plagiarized any content. However, everyone will get to know about the movie after it releases and then people can make the comparison themselves.”
The movie has Shreyas Talpade, Sneha Ullal and Sada in principal roles and is ready to hit the screen on 19th Feb.
