survivorMay 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Survivor: Heroes Vs villains” went for its season finale on Sunday, May 16. The show which had during its run on television been able to gain the attention of the viewers was at the end able to live up to the expectation but disappointed many, as Colby Donaldson who had been playing well and was one of the tough contenders for the title of the ultimate survivor had an early exit on Sunday. The winner “Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains” was none other than 34 year-old Sandra Diaz-Twiner.

On Saturday, Sandra Diaz-Twiner went on to become the first second time winner in the “Survivor”. She had in the past won the seventh season of the “Survivor” which was titled “Survivor: Pearl Islands”. However, it was not a cake walk for the winner and she had to put her best efforts to get the ultimate $1 million prize. The show which pitted the two tribes named “heroes” and “villains” against each other, at the final three found Sandra Diaz-Twiner winning over Villains Parvati Shallow and Russell Hantz.

The finale episode began with Parvati Shallow winning the immunity competition leading to the exit of Colby Donaldson. He became the final Hero to be voted off the show. In the next challenge the remaining competitors were needed to navigate through a maze and that too blindfolded. The task saw Jerri Manthey getting voted out. At the end the three contestants went for the crown of the survivor which the jury ultimately handed over to Sandra Diaz-Twiner, making the season a part of the survivor history.
