London, March 26 (ANI): Actress Lynda Carter, who played the lead in Wonder Woman in the late 1970s, believes Sandra Bullock is “exactly” the right choice to step into her shoes for the upcoming film version of the popular TV series.

Lynda, 58, is earlier said to have dismissed Bullock, 45, as being “too old” for the role.

“There was an idea that Sandra Bullock should play Wonder Woman and I think it’s a great idea,” the Daily Express quoted Lynda, as saying on US entertainment programme Good Morning LA.

She added: “She’s exactly the kind of a personality and somehow it got messed around that I had said she was too old. That’s nonsense, it wasn’t true. She’s strong and feminine.

“And Wonder Woman has to be accessible.” (ANI)
