Washington, January 4 (ANI): Sandra Bullock has revealed that she still mourns the loss of her mother, nine years after her death.
The Miss Congeniality actress, whose German opera singer mother Helga died of cancer, said she is still trying to come to terms with the personal tragedy.
“It took me two years to accept that she’s not here. It doesn’t get easier; it gets harder. But it’s a good thing, because I feel it and I value it and I’m not rushing through life,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
The 45-year-old, who was named 2009’s highest-earning star in Hollywood, further unwrapped her ways of dealing with the grief.
The star added: “I love to do things that continue what she started, whether it’s making candles or creating a place for women going through chemotherapy to spend time with their families.” (ANI)
