Apr 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Sandra Bullock has finally ended her silence, and perhaps her exciting news explains why she was silent for so long. Ever since the story broke that Jesse James had cheated on her, Sandra has remained gracefully quiet and out of the spotlight. Now, she is finally speaking out; to reveal that she has indeed filed for divorce, and has a brand new baby boy! With all of the chaos this tiny little wonder has been the secret joy in Sandra’s life. She calls him “Louis.”

“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.”

In a recent article, it was reported that those close to Sandra revealed that she did plan to divorce Jesse, but was trying to settle everything between them before filing, to be sure it wasn’t a messy, drawn out process. The Oscar winning actress was crossing her ‘t’s and dotting her ‘i’s so to speak. Now one has to wonder if perhaps the reason she waited to file the divorce papers was to be sure she would still be allowed to adopt three and a half month old Louis Bardo Bullock as a single mom. And the answer is, yes she can!

The forty-five year old Bullock and soon to be ex-husband Jesse James, 41 began the adoption process four years ago, and they brought the baby boy home in January. Their close friends and family – including James’s children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 – were essential in keeping the adoption a secret. Sandra and James had decided to keep him a secret until after the Oscars, but then, just ten days after the March 7 Oscars event, the ‘bombshell’ about Jesse’s womanizing ways was dropped, Sandra left Jesse, and the secret baby stayed out of the public eye with his mom.

“Yes, I have filed for divorce,” Sandra tells People in its latest issue,adding “I’m sad and I am scared” though she does not reveal where the petition was filed. It is very touching that she reveals being ’sad and scared’ just as anyone would be. It is also wonderful that she chose a baby from America, there are so many children here who need loving homes. The actress says she plans to raise this baby by herself. Sandra has handled the entire situation with grace and dignity. You go girl!!
