Aug 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Sandra Bullock who had entered into an agreement with America’s Wetland Foundation to appear in a video featuring the ill effects of the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is no longer happy with her association with the video. According to media reports, the actress’ representative has asked for the part featuring Sandra Bullock to be edited as long as it is not confirmed that the video is not influenced by three oil companies including BP, Shell and American Petroleum.
In fact it has been reported that the actress has asked for her part in the gulf restoration video be removed until the issue has been entirely solved. Cheryl Maisel, the spokesperson of the actress had earlier said in a statement that it was Sandra Bullock’s attorney who had initially got in touch with his client to make her a part of the oil spill restoration video. In the original version of the video, Sandra Bullock was supposed to request politicians from the United States to chalk out a restoration plan and arrange for funds which would be used to help the victims of the oil spill in the Gulf Coast. However with the recent controversy surfacing, it seems unlikely that Sandra Bullock will be a part of the video at all.
The representative of the actress has further explained that at no point of time while working on the oil spill video was Sandra Bullock informed that an oil company would be involved with the work that is being produced by a group based in Louisiana. However the actress will continue being a part of all humanitarian efforts involved in the restoration work of oil spill victims.
