Sandra Bullock & Oprah Winfrey might be costars in an upcoming comedy
October 29th, 2010 - 10:59 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is reported that Oprah Winfrey and Sandra Bullock are set to co-star in an upcoming comedy by Michael Patrick King. The stars are rumored to be part of the upcoming project with Meryl Streep also linked to the project.
Michael confirmed that he was in talks with the three ladies in the upcoming project. In an interview with Deadline, the “Sex and the City” creator said that, “I came up with the idea of writing for Meryl, Sandy, and Oprah, and it became so specific to them that I wanted to be sure I had interest from these ladies”.
The Oscar winning stars however have not commented on the upcoming project or the negotiations but it seems Michael is confident the project will see the light of day. The yet-to-be-titled project will center on the lives of a group of people that are working for a home shopping network. Universal Pictures gave further details about the upcoming project with the following statement - “It will be set in and around the world of home shopping-type network and follows the characters as they make their way through the maze of mania that surrounds marketing, marriages and the media”.
