Sandra Bullock June 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After the devastating floods which overtook Nashville, Tennessee in the spring, several stars united in efforts to help those who had lost their homes and businesses to the flood-waters, and help rebuild the water soaked country music capital. On Tuesday night, Sandra Bullock was one of the many stars who showed up for “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery” which was held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Bullock sat on stage and strummed a guitar in an attempt to play her rendition of “Smoke On The Water” while wearing a black dress. Soon after the song begins, Sandra laughs and takes the mic, “OK, who am I kidding? I can’t play for crap! But ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce an amazing woman, an extraordinarily talented woman, a disgustingly beautiful woman, and the woman that is one half of who made tonight possible. Ladies and gentlemen, the extraordinary Faith Hill.”

And with that introduction for Faith Hill, who organized and planned the entire event alongside her husband, Tim McGraw, Sandra Bullock smiled as she walked off the stage amid the roar of a cheering crowd. She was one of the many celebrities and country stars who joined efforts and helped raise cash for Nashville.
