Sandra Bullock hits out at today’s romantic comedy films for their poor standardJune 17th, 2009 - 4:52 pm ICT by ANI
Washington, Jun 17 (ANI): ‘Miss Congeniality’ star Sandra Bullock has hit out at the poor standard of romantic comedy films that are being made now.
Bullock, 44, who has starred in a string of rom-coms throughout her 22-year long career, insists that her role in ‘Two Weeks Notice’ was the pinnacle of the genre.
But she is convinced the 2002 movie, in which she starred alongside Hugh Grant, spelt the end of the genre - because the quality of the movies made now is “c**p”.
“They’re not funny, they’re not romantic, they’re not written well for women anymore. It was basically all c**p. I did the last good one. I’m done,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. (ANI)
