Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds’ movie ‘The Proposal’ was awarded the ‘best movie comedy’ in the People’s Choice Award.

Sandra Bullock has another feather added to her cap as she took home the award for the best movie actress. Sandra Bullock was overwhelmed with emotion when she received the People Choice Awards for the second time. In her ‘thank you’ speech, she thanked her fans whose votes made her bag the award. Her vote of thanks also went to her family and her husband. Sandra Bullock has been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Award this year.

The ‘Blind Side’, which has Sandra Bullock in the female lead, is touted as a great sports movie. It made a huge record in the US box-office collection. The dazzling stars of Hollywood acknowledged the fact that since it is people’s love that is being showered on them incessantly, the ‘ People’s Choice Award’ is therefore a huge success. Recently, Sandra Bullock has beaten Johnny Depp and has become the highest paid in Hollywood, which by all means is quite a big feat achieved by the talented star. Her achievements in the box office collection years also proved on thing, that the women ruled the roost this year.
