Los Angeles, May 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Oscar winner Sandra Bullock is all set to attend the ‘MTV Movie Awards’. MTV also announced that she would be the recipient of the ‘MTV Generation Award’ at the MTV Movie Awards 2010, which would be held on the 6th of June. MTV also announced that they want to honor the actress “for her riveting and diverse contributions to the film industry and for entertaining generations of the MTV audience over the last two decades.” And Sandra Bullock would also create history by winning this award, as she would be the first woman to be honored with this award. Other celebrities who have been honored with this award are Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey.

Sandra Bullock’s representative has confirmed that she plans to attend the event. This would be her official public appearance, after her life went topsy-turvy due to her husband Jesse James adulterous affairs.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards are going to be hosted by Aziz Ansari and they would be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper and Steve Carell would also present awards at the event. It would also be telecast live on TV from 9 pm ET onwards.
