Sana Sheikh to play lead in Zee show

April 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):RJ Sana Sheikh made a not-so-impressive TV debut with Sony’s Jeet Jayenge Hum, which went off air recently. However, she sure has impressed Hats Off Productions, who have cast her in their upcoming show, titled Karegi Mera Naam Roshan for Zee TV.
According to sources, Sheikh was the front runner to play the lead and she was confirmed a few days ago. Other cast includes veteran actors like Farooq Sheikh, Lubna Salim, and Yashpal Sharma. Sufi Malhotra of Roadies 6.0 is tipped to play the male lead.
Sana Sheikh remained unavailable for comment.
Karegi Mera Naam Roshan hasn’t launched as of yet but it’s already made news for a wrong reason. The show which was first being produced by Endemol India, later got handed to Hats Off Productions by Zee TV, due to undisclosed issues.
Let’s hope things are now set in place and there are no hiccups before the show launches.
