chefNov 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) For San Francisco based chef Yigit Pura, the first season of the Bravo’s reality show “Top Chef: Just Desserts” would be an experience that he would fondly remember for the rest of his life. The 29-year-old turned out to be the first winner of the reality show which is a spin-off of the popular television culinary competition “Top Chef.” In order to win the much-coveted title of the first winner of the reality series, Yigit Pura had to beat two of his fellow top finalists Morgan Wilson and Danielle Keene in the finale that was aired last night.

During the finale episode, in the final challenge, the top three contestants had to make a four-course dessert which would be fit to feed as many as 17 people while they had to take the help of the former contestants. The regular viewers of the Bravo reality show were left glued to the television screens as the three competed against each other by putting their best foot forward to win the first season of the culinary competition. For the ultimate challenge, Yigit Pura took inspiration from the concept of dating and romance as he went on to deliver three signature dessert dishes that were named “Gimlet,” “Passion,” “Kisses in the Park” and “Love.”

Yigit Pura’s efforts ultimately paid off as he was able to win wide accolades from the judges who were highly impressed with the San Francisco based chef’s culinary skills and announced him as the winner of “Top Chef: Just Desserts.” While reacting to his victory, the 29-year-old chef later added that winning the competition was the most spectacular feeling in the world.
