July 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The latest news from the Kannada movie industry is that the highly acclaimed and extremely talented director Sampath Nandi would start working on his new film. His new Telugu film would be called Maitrivanam. The film would star Varun Sandesh. Varun would be paired with Kajal Agarwal’s sister Nisha Agarwal. The entire Kannada film industry has high hopes for the film, since it’s directed by none other than Sampath Nandi.

K.K. Radha Mohan from Sri Satya Sai Arts has been roped into produce Maitrivanam. Sri Satya Sai Arts has had previously produced Adinetha, a movie by Jagapathi Babu.

Maitrivanam is looked up as a romantic entertainer and the popular music director Chakri is in charge of composing the music. The film’s cinematography is by Bujji.

The shooting of the film would commence real soon and it would be shot in the city of Hyderabad. It would also be extensively shot in a variety of foreign locales after that. Vennela Kishore, M.S. Narayana, Vasanth Bhagwan, Pragathi, and Guru Raj are the other cast members of Maitrivanam.
