Sambora quits Bon Jovi tour to enter rehab
April 30th, 2011 - 6:55 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 30 (IANS) Guitarist Richie Sambora is opting out of upcoming Bon Jovi tour to re-enter rehabilitation centre.
Sambora’s bandmates will resume the Bon Jovi Live trek in New Orleans, Louisiana Saturday without the troubled guitarist as he is looking for an undisclosed facility to seek treatment for alcohol addiction and exhaustion, according to TMZ.com.
“Our support for Richie is absolute. He is, and will remain, a member of Bon Jovi.Although he will be absent from upcoming shows for the time being, we very much look forward to his healthy return. In the meantime, we will keep our commitment to our fans and continue our tour, “daily star quoted the source as saying.
The guitarist is struggling to cope with his divorce from actress Heather Locklear and the passing of his father.
