New Delhi, Aug 26 (IANS) Sajid Nadiadwala, known for producing movies like “Judwaa” and “Housefull”, met President Pratibha Patil earlier this week to present her a coffee table book. He says it was an honour.
The book - Times of India’s Global Indian edition - features Nadiadwala among the likes of Ratan Tata, Sachin Tendulkar, Vishwanathan Anand, Amitabh Bachchan and former president APJ Abdul Kalam.
“It’s a big honour for me to present the book to the president of India, along with the fact that the book has put me into the visionary category. It is about Indians who have taken their work globally and I hope and pray I can deliver what is expected from my fraternity and my country,” Nadiadwala said in a statement.
Nadiadwala, who has been in the industry for two decades, features in the Vision 2020 section of the book, thanks to his contribution to the Indian film industry.
