Sachin Tendulkar Impressed With Do Dooni Chaar, Wants To Work With Habib Faizal

October 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): We are all aware about the fact that Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was recently offered a very crucial role in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming movie Ferarri Ki Sawari and the cricketer rejected the offer politely. However, the latest news is that Sachin is so impressed with director Habib Faizal’s movie Do Dooni Chaar that he has reportedly expressed his desire to work with the director.
Sachin was in the mood to relax with his wife Anjali after scoring his 49th Test century last week. The couple, being a huge fan of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, wanted to watch their latest comedy flick Do Dooni Chaar. So, he called up his filmmaker friend Vidhu Vinod Chopra with this request.
Do Dooni Chaar, which united Rishi and Neetu onscreen after long 30 years, deals with highly-acclaimed working-class people. Sachin did not know the makers of the film so asked Chopra about them and the team managed a screening of the film for them at the KetNav dubbing studio in Bandra. Sachin was overwhelmed after watching the film, which revolves around a mathematics professor in Delhi, who is trying hard to buy a car for his family. Director Habib Faizal was quoted saying that Sachin expressed his desire to relax watching his film after the big triumph last week. He added that luckily Vidhu Vinod also loved the film and thus managed this special screening.
Faizal further said that Sachin loved the film as he could relate to it. He said that Sachin had been brought up in a middle class family so he knows the situation of the film. Well, if the news is true then we must say that Faizal is a lucky man!
