Sacha Baron Cohen weds Isla Fisher

The Australian actress Isla Fisher has been engaged to Sacha Cohen since 2004. They also have a two years old daughter named Olive.
The wedding took place in Paris on Monday, and it was a very small and private affair, as the couple is pretty reclusive. A few relatives were part of the sunset wedding, which was held in traditional Jewish style. After the wedding, the 34 years old Australian actress Isla Fisher announced her newly acquired marital status to her friends around the world in an email. She wrote in the email that, “We did it – we’re married! It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”
Sacha and Isla had met at a party in Australia in 2002. They dated for a couple of years, and then the comedian Sacha proposed to her over milk and cookies at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. Isla Fisher wanted to marry Sacha, so she also changed her religion to Judaism in 2007, and after that she adopted the Hebrew name of Ayala.
