Saathiya Saath nibhana on Star Plus

April 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Come this May, Star Plus is set to all set to fill its existing vacant 7.00 pm slot that will enable it to compete with the leader Bhagyavidhata on Colors. The channel has turned to Rashmi Sharma production, makers of Raja ki aayegi baraat, to churn up a daily for them.
Titled as Saathiya saath nibhana, this Rashmi production daily will launch in May and take the vacant 7.00 pm slot.
“The show was initially titled as Sasu maa but it’s now rechristened as Saathyia saath nibhana. I believe the story too has been tweaked a bit. Earlier, the tale was about a poor girl who is ill treated by her mausi. A young handsome boy comes to see the mausi’s daughter but instead chooses the orphan girl. While the characters remain the same, there seem to be some change in the plot. The principal cast consists of fresh faces.”
