California, Mar 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chidi Uzomah has stalked the American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, and now he has pleaded no contest to the felony. He had followed the well-known TV and radio personality many times. There were also instances when he came up to the American Idol host, armed with a knife. The court has also asked Chidi Uzomah to submit himself to a three-month psychiatric evaluation, at the Chino State Prison, which is located in California.

Chidi pleaded no contest to felony stalking, at a court hearing on the 9th of March 2010. He is actually employed as a Special Forces reserve for the US Army. He had already been charged 5 months earlier, over stalking Ryan Seacrest. He had been charged with one count of felony stalking, and two misdemeanor counts of violating a court order. He had violated a court order after the officials found him armed with a knife at the TV and the radio personality’s office in Los Angeles.

He is looking at serving up to 2 years locked up in prison, and the judge is in all probability going to issue a criminal order which will bar Chidi from making any contact with Ryan Seacrest for a decade at least. The judge might also ask him to stay away from the musical reality show host, for 10 years.
