Ryan Seacrest Stalker Receives Maximum Prison Sentence

Ryan SeacrestLos Angeles, June 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Noted radio host Ryan Seacrest can now breath a sign of relief. A man who was accused of stalking the “American Idol” presenter has been given a prison sentence of two years and has also been ordered to stay away from the television personality for a period of ten years. Superior Court Judge John S. Fischer read out the sentence during a hearing which was held on Monday.

26 year old Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr., who was taken into custody last year in Los Angeles at the E! cable network where Ryan Seacrest was recording a show, is known to have pleaded no contest to stalking earlier.

While reading out the sentencing, Superior Court Judge John S. Fischer pointed out that state prison is warranted in the case while also issuing a restraining order against the culprit to stay at least 500 yards away from the renowned radio host and his workplace for a whopping ten years.

Meanwhile, when Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. was arrested last year, he was already on probation in an incident when he had attacked one of Ryan Seacrest’s security guards and had even been pleaded guilty to as many as three misdemeanors which took into account assault, battery as well as carrying a weapon.

Following the sentencing on Monday, the 35 year old Ryan Seacrest’s attorney Blair Berk stated that the television host appreciated the work that was done by the Los Angeles County District Office with respect to the case. Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest is among one of the most popular faces on television who is best known for his hosting duties in “American Idol” and “E! News.”
