July 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds suffered a shoulder injury on Monday on the sets of his upcoming action flick “The Green Lantern.” The incident took place while the filming of the screen adaptation of the DC Comics on going on in full swing in New Orleans earlier this week. Despite the fact that the injury is reported to be quite severe, the 33-year-old actor is said to be recovering well from it.

A reliable source has confirmed the news that the “Definitely, Maybe” star has indeed injured himself while shooting for his forthcoming flick and has revealed that the much acclaimed actor ’separated his shoulder’ and has been suffering from intense pain while ‘he’s been keeping ice on it.’ However, intrinsic details about how the injury was caused and how it might change the course of the filming of the action flick has not been available as yet. At the same time, the actor or any of his representative has not been available for comments in this regard.

Meanwhile, a leading media source has reported that Ryan Reynolds suffered only a minor injury and the incident did not delay the production of the action movie in any way. Reportedly, the actor was back on work on Wednesday and was able to continue with the filming so that the June, 2011 release date could be meet. However,any confirmation in this regard has not been forthcoming from the makers of the DC Comics action flick. “The Green Lantern” is expected to hit the theaters on June 17, 2011 with Ryan Reynolds edging the title character in the upcoming movie.
