Hollywood has never exactly been noted for it’s conventionally traditional families, but here’s one that takes whacked-out family dynamics to a whole different and decidedly icky level.

Ryan O’ Neal, the ever devoted partner of Farrah Fawcett, the lovely actress who eventually succumbed to her long-standing struggle against cancer, was so heartbroken over her death, that
he reportedly couldn’t even recognize his own daughter, whom he landed up hitting on, at Farrah’s very funeral.

Of course, that’s hardly the end of the unsettling incident. What seems to be even high on the breach of propriety list, is that he actually landed up talking about it, and admitted to it in a rather light vein. According to O’ Neal, he had just put the casket in the hearse and was watching it drive away, when a beautiful blonde came up to him and embraced him, prompting an instantaneous pick-up line from the newly bereaved O’ Neal. He apparently asked her if she had a drink on her, and whether she had a car.

It was at this point that Tatum O’ Neal, his estranged daughter had to let him know that it was her, he had been making advances at. O’Neal goes on to actually comment, that he was just trying to be funny to this (whom he thought to be) attractive Swedish woman, with her turning out to be his daughter. Thankfully, by his own admission, he subscribed to the idea of the whole thing being “sick”.

‘Daddy Drool’s’ little girl herself, seemed to laugh the matter off, referring to the incident as the summary of her relationship with him. Well then, cheers to the family ties that bind…and gag apparently!
