Russian man claims that he is the father of Claudia Schiffer’s child
December 15th, 2011 - 12:03 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattMunich, Dec 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The German newspaper Bild has reported that a Russian man is claiming paternity to supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s child. The man, Aleksander Gavrilov, claims that he slept with the German supermodel in 2009 and believes that resulted in her pregnancy.
Subsequently, the man has filed a suit at a court in Russia to force a paternity test. Aleksander claims in the suit that he met Claudia on the social networking site Facebook in 2009 and the two started a relationship. He further alleges that Claudia came to Moscow a few days after they started the relationship and had intimate affair with him.
Claudia is the mother of a year-old baby which Aleksander says he has the right to bring up as a father. Bild reports him as saying that, “I would like to participate in the upbringing of the child.”
Claudia has denied the allegations saying it is “crazy” and “untrue.” The 41-year-old is currently married to film director Matthew Vaughn with whom she has three children including the one Aleksander is claiming paternity to.
In 2002, a man with mental issues was arrested at the London home of Claudia. The man had been to the house on several occasions and pestered Claudia to marry him.
