December 10th, 2010 - 7:10 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire

Russell plays the role of a college professor called John Brennan, who turns aggressive to bring his wife out of the prison. Elizabeth Banks plays his wife Lara Brennan, who has been accused of murdering her boss after a conflict in her office. She turns suicidal when all her appeals get rejected.

John is mild-mannered person, who is bringing up his son but when he finds his innocent wife suffering the prison sentence, he becomes desperate to bring her back somehow. He turns like a hard-charging commando, who can go to any extent to get back his wife. He takes help from a criminal called Damon Pennington (Liam Neeson), who has successfully fled from the prison seven times. Taking guidance from Damon, he studies the jail, understands the map of the city, gets fake passport for his family and finally manages to take her out of the prison.

Brennan also manages to shift the focus of the airport authorities and detectives towards the flights from Canada to Haiti, whereas he takes flight from Toronto to Caracas, Venezuela along with his family. The flashback at the end shows that Lara was actually innocent.
