Russell Crowe to play lead in ‘The Equalizer’

London, June 17 (IANS) Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe is set to play Robert McCall in a big screen adaptation of hit TV show “The Equalizer”.
The “Robin Hood” star will play the dark character, made famous by Edward Woodward in the 1980s TV crime series, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The storyline of the movie is yet to be finalised.
