Russell Crowe to donate ponytail for charity

London, Oct 22 (IANS) Hollywood star Russell Crowe is helping a children’s charity by donating his ponytail.The Australian actor, currently starring with Leonardo Dicaprio in “Body of Lies”, has pledged his hair to Locks of Love, an organisation that makes wigs for young cancer patients, reports thesun.co.uk.
“Russell has grown attached to the hair, but he’s excited to help,” said a source.
Crowe has been growing his hair for his forthcoming role as Robin Hood in “Nottingham” and needs to reach a minimum of ten inches before he can donate it.
