Russell Crowe backs Christchurch earthquake aid appeal

London, Mar 26 (ANI): Russell Crowe has filmed a video message for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal to urge fans to donate cash in order to help aid efforts in the stricken city.
The Hollywood actor has joined the effort to help his fellow New Zealanders to rebuild the city of Christchurch after a devastating earthquake hit the region last month (Feb11).
“Christchurch needs its mates, whether they happen to be here in New Zealand, or across the ditch, or on the other side of the world. Your donation to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, no matter how big or small, will help the city as it faces the challenges ahead,” the Daily Express quoted Crowe as saying in the clip, posted on YouTube.com.
