Russell Brand wants to kiss the Jonas Brothers on New Year’’s Eve
December 20th, 2008 - 4:56 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Dec 20 (ANI): British comedian Russell Brand has once again picked on American boy band Jonas Brothers by saying that he wants to kiss them on New Year’’s eve.
Brand, who recently joked about the bands purity rings at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, was asked whom would he like to kiss on the eve of New Year.
I think all of the Jonas Brothers, Us magazine quoted him as saying at the Los Angeles premiere of Bedtime Stories.
But very gently and consensually, he added.
His remark earned him the ire of American Idol Jordin Sparks, and made her defend the boys on stage.
Not every guy and a girl wants to be a s—, she stated.
Brand later apologized for the joke. (ANI)
