Russell Brand, Jonathan Ross All Set To Reunite On The Small Screen
January 20th, 2011 - 2:13 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
British comedian Russell Brand and the U.K broadcaster Jonathan Ross are reportedly going to rock on television together again as they are set to reunite for the first time after the controversy that surrounded the calls to actor Andrew Sachs had nearly brought them to the end of the road as far as their careers were concerned.
Russell Brand had to face quite a backlash from critics and the public alike after he and Jonathan had played pranks with television star Andrew Sachs as they had left offensive messages on his answering machine while they were at a live broadcasting event.
Thus as an aftermath to this Russell had to leave his job at BBC for an entire twelve weeks that too without pay. Not only that he also had to fore-go his chance to host the British Comedy Awards in 2008,which was a first since he had joined as the anchor way back in 1991.
However, after the ugly episode quite some time has elapsed and so the two are being roped in again so as to bring back some spark on the show and bring back some TRP’s reports suggest.
The two are reportedly going to be hosts for the inaugural show and there are speculations that the controversial episode with veteran Sachs is likely to be given some reference there as nothing regarding that has been said after it took place.
