Russell Brand Arrested

September 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Russell Brand was recently the subject to a citizen’s arrest, thanks to a paparazzo. The incident took place on Friday at the famous Los Angeles International Airport.
It is said that at about 1:50 pm, the Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 5 for a report of a battery linking a celebrity as well as a commercial photographer. This was the statement that was released from the LA Airport Police.
The public information officer [PIO] even confirmed that the English comedian/actor was taken into custody by the paparazzo. The victim who was involved in the entire deal placed that Russell Brand, the suspect was put under a private person’s arrest, thus read the statement. The Police at the airport apprehended the suspect for Penal Code under the Section 242 - battery. It was later revealed that Russell would be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station.
A representative for the actor, however, didn’t straight away respond to an appeal for a comment. It was said that Katy Perry who is Brand’s fiancée, was in his company when this incident took place.
The star of such movies like Bedtime Stories, Get Him to the Greek and Despicable Me was engaged to singer/actress Katy Perry in December 2009.
