Rush Limbaugh to judge the Miss America contest

Las Vegas, Jan 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Miss America Organization has revealed that Rush Limbaugh would be a judge for the Miss America pageant for the year 2010. The contest would be held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the 30th of January. Rush Limbaugh will join 6 other judges, who will decide who will wear the Miss America crown.
President and CEO Art McMaster said that, “The Miss America Organization is thrilled to have Rush Limbaugh as a judge”. The Miss America Organization said on Friday that they are delighted to have Rush Limbaugh as a judge because he hosts a radio program that is in its 22nd year, and is telecasted on 600 stations and with a audience of over 20 million.
Rush Limbaugh is also famous for putting his foot in his mouth. It may be recalled that Rush Limbaugh came under fire from all sides when he vented his infamous Haiti comments. During his show, he said to a caller that: “If I said it, I meant to say it, and I do believe that everything is political to this president. Everything this president sees is a political opportunity, including Haiti, and he will use it to burnish his credentials with minorities in this country and around the world, and to accuse Republicans of having no compassion”.
