cr-21July 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has sold his luxury Upper East Side condo for a remarkable price of $11.5 million recently. The posh 10 room, 4,600 square foot pad on the market was put on sell on March for $12.45 million and the radio host had promised to leave New York City once he sells off his house. A broker has revealed to a reputed media source that the house has finally been sold.

The house is located at 86th Street and Fifth Avenue and it is the 20th-floor penthouse which means that the resident would get a wonderful view of the city anytime of the day or night. The apartment also has a library, four terraces, dressing rooms for both male and female, a maid’s room, working fireplaces and views of Central Park, which is situated nearby. Each luxurious room is decorated with Fortuny upholstered walls and hand cut Italian marble that lines the foyer. The artist Richard Smith has designed the wall and ceiling walls.

Rush Limbaugh’s home has gold leaf moldings and the radio talk show host paid $5 million for the house in 1994. The incident that made him take the decision of selling away his home was when New York state temporarily increased the income tax for the millionaire home owners citing the reason that the money would be used to help the ailing economy. Rush Limbaugh, 59, also owns a Palm Beach property worth whooping $40 million or more. The radio host recently said in one of his talk shows New York City is “Drop Dead”, however, recently he has moved his residency to Florida where he stays with his family.
