Honolulu, Dec.31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American radio host Rush Limbaugh, who was admitted to a Honolulu hospital after he complained of chest pains, is said to be ‘resting comfortably’ in the medical facility, a statement released by his program revealed. Moreover, the statement also added that the 58 year old radio host highly appreciates the prayers and the well wishes that have been bestowed upon him, following his illness.

However, no information regarding the present condition of the veteran radio host has been available till now and reportedly hospital authorities have also refused to comment on his condition. At the same time, Rush Limbaugh’s chief of staff Kit Carson, has also not been able to provide the recent updates about the talk show host’s condition. Meanwhile, it has been added that all the fans of the radio host would be kept informed about Rush Limbaugh’s condition through his personal website as well as on his radio program.

Rush Limbaugh suffered chest pains during his vacation at Honolulu during the Christmas season while he was at his hotel room. The conservative commentator was then rushed to the Queen’s Medical Center where he received necessary treatment.

Rush Limbaugh’s popularity can be judged from the fact that he was voted to be America’s most influential conservative voice by a poll which was held last month. However, the revelation does not come as a surprise as his show is heard in over 600 radio stations, spanning all across the nation. Moreover, around 14 million people tune in to listen to the veteran conservative commentator at least once a week.
