Los Angeles, July 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Nicholas Cage was in the news recently for his inability to pay taxes and now it’s the turn of popular Hollywood actor Chris Tucker who apparently owes over $10 million in unpaid taxes.

Thirty seven year old Chris Tucker, who originally hails from Georgia, was paid a whopping $20 million dollars for featuring as Detective James Carter in the second Rush Hour movie in the series in 2006. And then he was paid another $25 million in the next movie in the series, which was released a year later. He has been asked by the Internal Revenue Service to honor his tax debts from 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The star has already had problems with tax payments in the past and was ordered to pay over $3.5 million, that he owed to the California state around the same period.

It ought to be mentioned that refusal to pay taxes is a serious crime that could lead to prison sentence and so far neither the actor nor his representatives have commented on these reports.

Chris Tucker was born on the 31st of August 1972 to Mary Louise and Norris Tucker. He was born and raised in Decatur, which is located in Georgia.
