February 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sangeeth Sivan’s forthcoming horror venture “Click’ boasts of a not so regular run-of-the-mill haunting, but the music has a melodious touch that goes with the theme of the story.
The lyricist of the film Shabbir Ahmed explains, “So far I have written songs pertaining to almost all genres like peppy number “You are my Love’ (Partner) or “Hum Tumhe Nighoan Mein’ (Garv). However, “Click’ gave me an opportunity to pen down what I have been longing to write- beautiful shayari (poetry).”
He goes on to add, “The most beautiful song is “Rubai’ which defines the relationship of unconventional yet beautiful pair of Shreyas-Sada.”
So, when asked how difficult was it to write a song on such an unconventional on-screen pair, the lyricist says, “It’s very important for lyricist to observe the actors for whom he/she is writing the song. As soon as lyricist is well-versed with the body language and nature of the actor, things become easy.”
