New York, June 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Royal Pains” which was called a surprising hit way back in the year of 2009 aired their first episode of Season 2 called “Spasticity”.
“Royal Pains” is all set to head on with the story exactly where it left the viewers in Season 1. HanMed; the concierge doctor company has now gone bankrupt and they are trying to figure out new ways to keep their business running. Moreover, the betrayal from their father who took away all their savings have hurt their sentiments real bad. Keeping up the old routine of solving medical mysteries, the episode shows how an infomercial star lands up at HanMed with a serious injury. It was a clear indication that the makers of “Royal Pains” are trying to inject a sub plot to grab the attention of the viewers.
On the other side of the story there is Divya Katdare played by Reshma Shetty faces an arranged engagement and Evan Lawson( Paulo Costanzo) reacts to the whole thing in a calm and strange manner which leaves the audience wondering what would be the final stand of the relationship. Campbell Scott is back in his role of Boris who happens to be one of the greatest benefactors of “HankMed”.
“Royal Pains” shall soon witness Henry Winkler as a regular member of the cast which shall be a boost to the show. In all probability, “Royal Pains” season 2 is aiming high and if all goes well “Season 2″ might be the most rewarding for the makers of the show.
Season 1 had a smooth beginning and a rapid over flow of emotions which was framed nice against the main plot of medical mysteries. However, Season 2 seems to be one which has some witty dialogue and action packed drama that sets the stage right for a great summer season.
