Roxanne Pallette Eliminated from Dancing on IceMarch 2nd, 2009 - 11:33 pm ICT by GD
Roxanne Pallette was eliminated from Dancing on Ice but Donal MacIntyre was really the one seen wincing, as he showed a large bruise on his left thigh sustained after he fell over in a rehearsal.
In spite of the injury the undercover reporter managed to score his best yet 23 out of 30 as he and his skating partner Florentine Houdiniere danced to Elton John’s I Guess That’s Why They Call it the Blues on Sunday’s show. He also said he was not the only one dancing with an injury and that it was not too important.
However Roxanne Pallette and Zoe Salmon had to fight it out at the end for survival at the show. The five judges decided to save Zoe after she wowed them with her performance of Alesha Dixon’s mambo-flavored song The Boy Does Nothing and gave her a score of 25.5 out of 30.
Zoe, wearing a silver bikini-like outfit with gold tassels had chosen a gold-colored cane as her prop and got her first six from Judge Ruthie Henshall, who told her, “You light up the stage when you come on.” Her partner Matt Evers was all praise for the former Blue Peter presenter.
Roxanne Pallette used a chair as her prop and was dressed in a revealing tutu as she danced to Pussycat Dolls’ Don’t Cha. The 26 year old former Emmerdale actress left the show with their best score yet of 21 and judge Ruthie Henshall called her performance “competent and confident.”
