Rowling named Britain’s most influential woman

Victoria Beckham London, Oct 11 (IANS) Well-known English author J.K. Rowling has topped a poll of the 100 most influential women in Britain.

The “Harry Potter” writer was chosen for her writing skills, tenacity to succeed and philanthropic nature in a poll conducted by the National Magazine Company.

The second position went to singer Victoria Beckham, while Queen Elizabeth came third. Other celebrities on the list include Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss and Dame Vivienne Westwood, reports digitalspy.co.uk.
