Rotten Tomatoes labels Jennifer Love Hewitt as worst actress
June 9th, 2011 - 12:59 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, June 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rotten Tomatoes have labeled Jennifer Love Hewitt as the worst actress in almost three decades. The critics gave their reason for coming out with their seemingly hard review on the actress.
Christopher Beam and Jeremy Singer-Vine who reviewed the actress on behalf of RottenTomatoes.com said that, “Hewitt has the rare distinction of never having made a single “fresh” (above 60 percent on Rotten Tomatoes) film. Her average score of 18.9 owes to such duds as “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit” (7 percent), “I Know What You Did Last Summer” (35 percent), “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer” (7 percent), and both “Garfield” movies (15 percent and 11 percent, respectively).”
The critics said they based their work on performances of stars since 1985 saying the period after that date marked the modern era. As a result they did not rate any star or performance before the period.
The review of Love Hewitt has received mixed reactions. The actress received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in “The Client List” and has appeared in other successful television shows and movies during her career. That has got some people to question what the review was based on.
