Rosie O’Donnell Shows Mixed Feelings About President Barack Obama’s Appearance On The View

rosieJuly 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) President Barack Obama will be appearing on ABC’s daytime talk show “The View” tonight. According to reports, the President will reflect on the challenges he had faced in life. Rosie O’Donnell, who was the former host of “The View”, yesterday in one of her satellite shows said that she has mixed feeling about the appearance of the President on the show as she could not totally agree with the President’s decision.

Rosie O’Donnell said that President Barack Obama’s decision to appear in the show was not something she could think was a good idea. The “Gimme A Break” actress said that she had mixed feelings about it as she didn’t really think “sitting Presidents” should appear on “fluffy” daytime shows. The lady added that she really does not want to see the President on “The View”. However, she also said that she is happy for “them” and that is going to be a good “booking” for the show. Rosie O’Donnell is not the first person who has shown her disagreement regarding President Barack Obama’s decision to appear on “The View”, even Ed Rendell, The Pennsylvania Governor said that the President’s decision was beneath the dignity of the presidency and compared it to going to Jerry Springer.

The American audience is however, waiting eagerly for the show to be aired. The President will answer questions regarding the Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill and the economy of United States and other such issues. ABC officials said that it was the first appearance by a sitting US President on a daytime TV chat show. Barbara Walters, who will be returning to the show for the first time after her surgery will act as the host.
