New York City, Mar 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rosie O’Donnell is all set to make her TV comeback with a new talk show. However there is still some time before she is back on TV, as her show will be launched after Oprah Winfrey leaves the daytime slot in the fall of 2011. Reportedly Rosie is ganging up with the former president of Warner Bros Domestic TV Distribution Dick Robertson and the former head of HBO Domestic Distribution, Scott Carlin to revive the Rosie O’Donnell show. These people were also the ones who were behind the success of the ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show’ for six seasons. Her new show will be a daytime show, in which she will interview celebrities in her characteristic style.

Prior to launching her own show, she was also the co-host of the ‘The View’ but she had to leave the show in 2007 in an acrimonious way. She and co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck used to be at loggerheads on the show, and finally Rosie couldn’t take it any longer, and she called it quits.

She is also the winner of six consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show Host. So her new show is something to look forward to, for all her fans, as it would be a newsworthy show, as her career as been marked by controversies.
