Rosie O’Donnell feels that Barack Obama shouldn’t appear on The View

Washington DC, July 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rosie O’Donnell has stated that she’s not too comfortable with the idea that US President Obama will make an appearance on “The View”
O’Donnell is a former co-host of the daytime talk show and she made a statement while broadcasting her radio show that she wasn’t too happy with the President appearing on her former show.
She said she didn’t think presidents currently in power should appear on TV shows shown during the day such as “The View”. She said she didn’t have a problem with a presidential brief appearance on a show like Oprah but not others. But she congratulated the show’s management for being able to book the President’s appearance.
She said that, “I have mixed feelings about that. I don’t really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on ‘Oprah’ or something…I don’t really want to see him on ‘The View’…although I’m happy for them, that’s a good booking, and Barbara’s going to come back that day after her heart surgery…”
O’Donnell is not the first person to blast the president for his decision to make an appearance on the show. So many Americans are displeased and talking about their displeasure including Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania who said the Presidency shouldn’t get involved with such shows when he was interviewed on “Morning Joe,” on Tuesday.
