Rosie O’Donnell Bags Day Time Show On OWN

Aug 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Oprah Winfrey has proved yet again that when it comes to her work she stops at nothing. In spite of the well known rivalry between Rosie O’Donnel and Oprah Winfrey, the two star talk show hosts seems to have buried the hatchet for the new show on Oprah Winfrey’s own network called OWN. Recently Rosie O’Donnel has said that she was looking for another talk show and was also speculating that she might be offered the time slot of Oprah Winfrey once she goes off air later this year. Before she got the opportunity to weigh her options Oprah Winfrey extended her hand of friendship quickly towards the TV veteran to offer her her very own talk show on the OWN network.
Rosie O’Donnel has been a dominant personality on TV for nearly 20 years. Considering that the OWN network is a new launch, the veteran will bring in the necessary experience and fan base into the network. Oprah Winfrey was seen all praises for the veteran TV personality when she said that Rosie O’Donnel is a true original who brings her authentic voice and passion to everything that she does.
The OWN network officials have said that the audience can expect a fun and uplifting show where which will have the playful and energetic style of Rosie O’Donnel. The new show is expected to be filmed in New York and will be going on air when goes launches on January 1 next year. Jimmy Kimmel was quick to comment on the new collaboration saying that he predicts personality conflicts.
