Rosie O Donnell defends Chris Brown
April 5th, 2011 - 8:59 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rosie O Donnell has defended the actions of Chris Brown on the set of “Good Morning America” saying the singer is also a victim.
Brown lost his cool during a recent visit on the show after he was asked about his abuse of former girlfriend Rihanna. Brown cursed and broke glasses when he stormed out of the studio. The incident drew a lot of criticism but ABC declined to press charges against him. He was even given another invitation to appear on the show.
Rosie believes that Robin Roberts who interviewed Chris Brown that fateful day should be blamed for the incident. On her Sirius XM radio show, Rosie said, “I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts…I felt like writing her and going: ‘Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find — in any way — your responsibility in this?”
Rosie said she understands why Brown did not accept the other invitation extended by the show’s producers.
Rosie also attacked The View when she called the show’s studio “prison” and rat-infested.
She failed to discuss the relationship between Brown and Rihanna.
