Rose McGowan would like to play a lesbian in a movie
August 13th, 2011 - 12:58 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Aug 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Charmed” star Rose McGowan has revealed that she is attracted to women who have masculine appearances. The actress said she wouldn’t mind playing the role of a lesbian in a movie.
She recently featured in the movie Conan the Barbarian. The movie is scheduled for the theaters and in promoting the piece, Rose gave some insight into her early formative years. During an interview with The Advocate, she said that, “At 13, when I was a runaway, I was taken in by the most amazing drag queens in Portland, Ore. We didn’t always know where our next meal was coming from, but there was so much camaraderie and love. Not to mention, those girls could paint a face, and I learned how because of them.”
Among other things, the Rose said that she used to sneak her way into the clubs when she had not reached the legal age to do so. Rose was born into a Christian home. On why she wants to play a lesbian role, Rose said she would love to be able to tell people that she has kissed a woman before and was paid for it.
Rose has appeared in several movies including Grindhouse, Scream and Jawbreaker.
