Rooney Mara has a makeover for the movie ‘The girl with the dragon tattoo’

Los Angeles, Jan 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rooney Mara was completely transformed when she took the identity of the character, Lisbeth Salander in a new upcoming movie. Mara is now completely a different person after the extreme makeover.
The appearance of the character and that of Mara are so contracting that after pictures of Mara sporting the appearance of Salander was released, many people failed to recognize her.
She was recently pictured after she emerged from the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday.
The upcoming movie, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” casts Salander as the main character. The Salander character was a tattooed investigator that sports several piercings. She is rough and has taste for cigarettes.
With such a “wild” character to be sport into, it was not easy for Mara. She admitted that being pierced four times in the ear was painful enough. Her appearance has seriously been changed after her eyebrows were bleached and have several piercings.
Though the character is no doubt one of the biggest that Mara will be playing, the star is most famous for her recent role in the hit movie, “The Social Network” which earned her and her other casts several nominations.
