Ronnie’s latest album about failed romance
May 1st, 2011 - 2:24 pm ICT by IANSLondon, May 1 (IANS) Singer Ronnie Wood says a majority of his songs in his latest album are about his failed relationship with waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
The 63-year-old, who dated Ivanova for 18 months, admits he incorporated his feelings into the songs for the album “I Feel Like Playing”, which was released last year.
“A lot of the songs are about the relationship I was in with Katia. I was leaving home and walking out on my marriage with Jo. It was something I had to do. I don’t know what drove me to it, but I had to do it,” dailymail.co.uk quoted him as saying.
The two split after a rocky relationship which ended after Wood was warned by police following a public bust-up with her in 2009.
